A Jott, A Twitter and A Prayer!

I have to admit, I am a little behind the times when it comes to the latest technology. So, if this is old news to some, forgive me. But have you heard of the latest cool high-tech services. One is a service called Jott. It is for those who have a “thought” and may be on the road or away from their computer or high-tech gadgetry and have nothing to write down that thought. WHAT DO YOU DO?!? Call Jott. You dial a toll-free number which is then answered by an Indian technician. You speak your idea, your vision, your thought or your grocery list and they in-turn transcribe what you said and send it to you via email. If you need to get a message to a group, call Jott. Need to capture an idea or create a list, call Jott. Need to send an email or text message, call Jott. THAT IS SO COOL!

The second cool service is called Twitter. It is similiar in service to Jott, but it adds a twist of community and social networking to the tech. Twitter members use the company website or their own cell phones to compose messages up to 140 characters in length, almost always answering the trademark Twitter question, “What are you doing?” Once a member submits a message to the site or texts it to the short code 40404 (in the United States), it goes out to the phones and browsers of the people who’ve joined that member’s social network–his or her “followers,” in Twitter lingo.  Kind of like a blog, but more direct and open. What a cool way to stay in touch and let your high-tech “homies” know what’s up.

The third service is not as modern or is it a hardware engineered high-tech device. But when you use it, the message is instantly heard, answered and marked for follow-up. If you distribute it to your “social network” and they text back, it increases in power and effectiveness. It is free and requires no contract. When accessed, it processes data instantly. There is no limit on the friends you can add to your network nor is there a charge or limit to the number of messages you can send. What is it? Instant Prayer! IP’s,as I like to call them, are as effective as anything else you will ever use. Guys, don’t give-up on prayer. God said you have not because you ask not and He encouraged us to pray without ceasing. I love this new technology. It was invented to help us stay connected better. This time get connected a little higher…A jott, A Twitter and A Prayer! God is waiting.

Be Happy!
