There's More!

This Easter is quite different from others Dana and I have celebrated. Because we are both suffering from sickness (Must be some hidden sin Dana is not confessing…lol), we didn’t take the kids to any Easter egg hunt, no big Easter basket reveal, No dressy clothes, and Dana will be staying home tomorrow due to the pnuemonia. No family and a big Easter dinner is out of the question. On top of all that! It’s stinkin’ cold outside! Sound gloomy and depressing? It all depends on your perspective.

The kids still got an Easter basket. Jacob is helping hide eggs so Brandon and Courtney can hunt eggs ’till their hearts are content. They are having fun playing and Jacob gets to go to Sixth Avenue Skate Park with some friends. And, Dana and I are still alive! Best of all, we ALL have and know Jesus as Lord and Savior. We still celebrate that He is ALIVE! No other religeous faith can celebrate the death and miraculous resurection of their Savior. Jesus died for everyone. He arose from the dead to paid the price for sin. God offers this gift to anyone who will recieve it. The reward is eternal life in heaven and a washing away of all sorrow. So the McKnight household says, “Easter, Smeaster. It’s all about Jesus anyway”. Tradition can be nice, but we are happy and enjoying all that God has given us.
